Responsibilities
- Perform Installation & Maintenance: Repair and maintain residential electrical systems, including weather heads, meter bases, outdoor disconnects, panels, breakers, outlets, and controls, ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry best practices.
- Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Professionally communicate with customers, answer questions, explain electrical issues and solutions, and provide maintenance recommendations to ensure long‑term satisfaction.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete work orders, inspection reports, and all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Residential electrical experience
- Thorough knowledge of Residential Electrical Services, Panels, and Grounding Systems, with the ability to install these systems independently
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills
- Confident “in‑the‑moment” decision‑making ability
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
